Introducing the Teachers.Net Gazette!
The Teachers.Net Gazette is a collaborative publication by the Teachers.Net Community. All articles are written by teachers for you, their teacher colleagues on Teachers.Net and beyond. This collaborative project was founded in 2000, and has provided a venue for teachers just like you, to publish their work before their teacher colleagues, and share great teaching ideas and stories.

See below this message for more information about the June 2008 Gazette (current edition)

Getting Published
Anyone can submit to the Teachers.Net Gazette. We publish everything from peer-reviewed education studies to anecdotes of life in the classroom. If you'd like to contribute, click this link for complete details:

          http://teachers.net/gazette/submit.html

Back Issues
The Teachers.Net Gazette is published monthly, and we now feature a large archive of offerings from renowned voices like Harry Wong and Howard Gardner, as well as your teacher colleagues from across Teachers.Net. To view our back issues, look for the link in the top header of every page in the publication.

To get "Home Delivery" of the Gazette
The Teachers.Net Gazette is generally published on the first of the month, but you can get an email listing of the current issue the moment it's published. Simply subscribe to the Teachers.Net Gazette Mailring, linked below. Immediately below this message is the actual Gazette monthly bulletin sent out every month.

New Feature - Share
We've recently added two new features to the Gazette we're excited about - share, and discussion. If you'd like to share any article, issue, or the Gazette in general with your social network, take advantage of our new "Share" pop-up button located at the top of every page. Now with just a click of the mouse, you can share to Digg, Del.icio.us, Facebook - you can even easily email an alert to anyone you want through the pop-up form.

New Feature - Discussions
At the bottom of every article, you can add your comments about the article through the discussion module. Any constructive feedback is welcome, or join in the conversation that is already in progress. Your input is the key to everything on Teachers.Net, and you are always encouraged to contribute your perspective.

We hope you enjoy this month's Gazette, it marks the 45th issue we've published. If you run across Kathleen Carpenter on Teachers.Net, feel free to tell her you enjoyed her work - she's invested untold hours editing your articles and stories since the start of the Gazette.

I hope to see your work published in a future Teachers.Net Gazette - please tell a friend!
