---------------------------------
Teachers generally fall in one or more categories along three axes - their state (or country), their grade level, and their principle subject taught. Today's tip lets teachers lock in their profile on Teachers.Net, and stay connected with teachers in their peer group, and receive personalized content on every page.
Today's tip is a small but very helpful one. On Teachers.Net you'll find a daunting network of over 150 unique channels containing affiliated chatboards, mailrings, lesson plans, and more. Most teachers will find that three classes of chatboards remain uniquely important to them over time. These chatboards include your chatboard for your state, your grade level, and your principle subject taught.
At Teachers.Net we refer to this group of three "channels" as your triad, the axes that define your persistent interests. Because your state, your grade level, and your subject are not likely to change over time, we've created a method for locking in your triad, for easy access each time you return.
Teachers.Net Quick Links
Located across Teachers.Net, at the very top center of the page, is a blue link and triangle which reads "Quick Links." This link allows users to set their favorite discussion channels, and quickly access them at any time. To set your Quick Links, click on the word "Favorites" and select from the drop down lists, your state, grade level, and principle subject taught.
To change these later, just click on the word "Favorites" and enter your new preference information.
