---------------------------------
What is "The 30 Days
of Teachers.Net"?
June is a very special month for
educators. It is a time of transition - semesters are ending,
summer is beginning. It is a time for goodbyes, and new
beginnings. For some it's just a quick breath and back to
year-round classes, others will travel far and wide, bringing new stories
and ideas to enrich their craft in the new school year.
It is a time to relax, to learn, to share. It is your time, and we
celebrate with you every step.
So why The 30 Days of
Teachers.Net?
As you may know, Teachers.Net is
the Internet website built by teachers. for teachers, and about
teachers. Every bit and byte of this website was created by
teachers, every twist and turn in our development was the result of your
input and demand. For over a decade, Teachers.Net has been a grand
experiment in teacher community, and the result is a massive repository
of features, resources, and content.
The credit is all yours - you created this website, and all its
content. And because your efforts deserve full acclaim and
recognition, we at Teachers.Net have dedicated the month of June to
telling your colleagues all about your website, and your work.
Every day, for the next 30 days, we will announce a teacher feature
from the Teachers.Net website!
We've been busy recently, with a series of improvements to
Teachers.Net, that will help you with your teaching. So take a
moment each day to note the tip for that day - visit the resource if you
can, and make use of or participate in that resource if you can.
Remember, through your participation this community has grown to become
the largest and most active, and we think the most helpful teacher
community online.
Please forward any of these messages to your colleagues who may not know
about Teachers.Net. Every voice and view we add, makes your teacher
community more powerful.
Thank you for supporting your Teachers.Net, I look forward to seeing you
online!
