Check the meeting schedule for future meetings

Mae - It's 10:30 E - time for MOT
teach 3 - Hi Mae
Mae - Hi teach 3 - are you here for MOT?
Donna in Fl - Exceptiona Needs, I think we should head over to the Yahoo board and try to meet there. Sound good?
teach 3 - Yes I am . My post a little further down must have been premature
Mae - Hi Kathy
Kathy/IA - Hello all ... I can't stay long, but thought I'd pop in.
Mae - There is another meeting in here prior to ours.
Mae - I can't go two hours tonight - I'm already pooped!
teach 3 - I have a question. All of you have such wonderful things to say and are up on all the current research. WHen do you find time to do all your reading and planning?
Mae - I know that Jan isn't coming. Does anyone know if Kim will be here?
teach 3 - I find time to read
Kathy/IA - I'm attempting to finish some homework for my Ed Assessment class ... that I need for class tomorrow.
Mae - I snuck in about ten minutes of reading during recess today! I am behind!
teach 3 - On the board, kim said she had a class.
Mae - Hi Debbie2 and Eilene
Debbie2 - I was booted out, now I am here twice!! Hello!!
Mae - What about judy?
teach 3 - Another question as I am new at this. What about students who you can't get anything out of.
Eilene - Hi Mae.
Mae - So there is only one Debbie really here?
teach 3 - I have a student who basicallyl sits lilke a lump on a log all day.
Debbie2 - Judy said she was coming
Debbie2 - yepper, just little old me
Mae - teach3 - read aloud, read aloud, read aloud!
judy3ca - I made it! Hi, everyone!
Debbie2 - hi Judy!!
Kathy/IA - Have you done any type of interest survey with him/her?
Mae - Speak of the devil! We were just wondering about you judy.
teach 3 - I do, I do I do . I know I do more read aloud, read with, silent reading, etc than any other teacher
Kathy/IA - That may give you some direction on materials to use.
Debbie2 - ignore Debbie, I was booted and couldn't get back with my own name!!
teach 3 - I can find books that interest him, but his responses are not very thoughtful and he doesn't participate orally
Mae - BIG NEWS! - I got an email from Susan Zimmerman. She will be traveling the next month, but would like to JOIN our discussion!
judy3ca - I'm so glad to meet everyone! Something funny happened today with nonfiction conventions.
Kathy/IA - Wonderful Mae!
teach 3 - Wow, Mae, that's great
Debbie2 - WOwee, Mae, you're da bomb!!
judy3ca - Oh, my gosh, Mae, how cool!!!
Kathy/IA - I'll have to email Anne Goudvis and tell her about our chats ... and Debbie Miller.
Mae - We could be onto something!
Kathy/IA - Do you have the student in small group instruction?
Mae - judy, what happened?
Debbie2 - Are you all usign six traits and MOT, are they the same thing?
Mae - six traits reading or writing?
judy3ca - Kathy, are you in touch with those people?
Debbie2 - reading?
teach 3 - Yes, Kathy. Now that you mention it he does respond better in small group. I guess I see my other students making such great strides in their responses and questioning and he's not
Kathy/IA - Yes, they will be here in April for a workshop.
judy3ca - Mae, never mind, too long, I'll have to post it.
Mae - I am learning about it - it seems to be on the same page.
Kathy/IA - Make the most of the small group instruction with him. Maybe some "think pair share" so he has a chance to "test" out a response before stating it in class.
teach 3 - Thanks Kathy
Rudy - Hi everyone!! So happy to be here to talk about MOT
Mae - I made a t-w connection w/MOT today! My son's k teacher told me a long time ago (art teacher) about developmental drawing and writing. TBC
judy3ca - Who is working on what strategy? I just finished a big part of DI and am starting Inference on Monday.
Kathy/IA - There are many other "cooperative learning" strategies that would fit, too.
Mae - Children w/little detail in pictures also had little detail in writing. TBC
Eilene - What is TBC? (Mae?)
Mae - judy - text connections
teach 3 - My seven year old made a great text to self the other day when he connected a line from Minette on the Highwire with something in his own life Awesome
Mae - TBC - to be continued
Kathy/IA - Great, teach!
judy3ca - Oh, teach, I love that book!
Eilene - Aha! Thanks!
Rudy - Hi Debbie
Mae - Visualization - kids have to SEE IT in order to WRITE about it! I connected that w/the info. from the K teacher w/MOT today - it was like a big AHA!
Eilene - So are the connections from mosaic of thought? And is it ok for me to watch/participate w/out actually having read the book?
Mae - My 8yr. old is making connections to
Eilene - We're big into making connections at our school
Debbie#2 - HI Rudy, I doubt I'll be here long, I was already booted out twice
Mae - Eilene - yes - but you have just got to get the book!
Eilene - and my kids will go, "I made a connection because blah blah blah"
judy3ca - Connections are so much fun.
Mae - We are seeing double Debbies, but that's okay - hang in there!
Eilene - Is that yes I can stay or yes the connections are from MOT?
Eilene - (grin)
Debbie#2 - I am working on questioning
Mae - Yes to both!
Kathy/IA - Sorry to cut this short ... I need to do my homework ... and watch the KANSAS game!
Rudy - I am working on questioning too. I am having good things happen.
Mae - When I first started teaching, I thought I needed to learn how to ask better questions, now I realize that I need to teach kids to ask better questions!
Kathy/IA - Game to self connection ... home town kid on the team ... Kurt Henrich (sp)
Debbie#2 - Yes, me too, but I have to work on teaching what questions are relevant AND WHICH ONES ARE NOT
Mae - Kansas game over MOT! Oh, Kathy, surely you jest!
Rudy - The children really latch on to the idea!!
Debbie#2 - Yikes, I didn't mean to yell
Kathy/IA - Really ... homework over MOT! Class tomorrow!!!!
Mae - Okay, we will miss ya Kathy! Come back next week!
Debbie#2 - My poorer readers tend to ask, why did he do this and why did he do that
Kathy/IA - I'm scoring a KEY Math assessment for my Ed. Assessment class ... and I'm really confused and which table and chart to use! I set it aside for a bit hoping it would get clearer!
judy3ca - In working on nonfiction conventions, we finished reading a book about the moon and were reviewing. A child was asked, ?Why do you need to learn about this topic?? She thought a long time and responded, ?The moon is like your next-door-neighbor who you don?t know?.? I was so excited by her analogy of earth to moon, I was just ready to burst in with praise?when she finished, ?and he could shoot you.?
Mae - What are the critical attributes of GOOD questions?
Kathy/IA - Happy chatting ... night!
Mae - Oh my gosh judy!
Debbie#2 - well, mae, that is aGOOD question
judy3ca - Oh well, at least it was good for a laugh in the office--and she did get the idea.
Mae - I wish Jan were here - she is the queen of critical attributes.
judy3ca - Debbie and Mae--great questions about questions. Did you have a chance to look at the STW lesson I recommended about coding?
Rudy - What are critical attributes?
Mae - I don't know judy, that is really kind of sad, it speaks of the violence kids are subjected to.
Mae - I'm still piling through MOT. I'm slow poking - this has been a super busy week.
judy3ca - Mae, you're right--it is sad, very sad. It's a whole new world.
Debbie#2 - yes, but I think they wre about nonfiction material,
Eilene - Well...for the ExCet that would be questions that include higher level thinking skills and are divergent and not convergent, wouldn't it? (can you tell I'm getting ready?)
judy3ca - Debbie, I coded with fiction a lot.
Mae - Eilene - are you teaching yet?
Debbie#2 - Eilene, how do you say that in "kidspeak?"
Eilene - Yes
Mae - Debbie - which chapter is it?
judy3ca - The advantage to coding questions is that it leads beautifully to inference.
Eilene - In kidspeak? Hmmm...more than one answer and
Eilene - a question that makes you think
Debbie#2 - chapter 7
judy3ca - Eilene, have you ever heard of thick and thin questions--that's pretty close to kidsspeak, isn't it?
Mae - Eilene - don't think too hard on the Excet - that is what messes most people up. Try to think like the state.
Eilene - I think I'm okay on it
Mae - I haven't even started STW yet. I have 3 chapters left of MOT and I plan to know them out this weekend.
Eilene - Sad to say, and this is probably the one and ONLY instance
Eilene - but in many cases of the ExCet I think I *do* think like the state
Eilene - Isn't that scary?
Debbie#2 - oh yes, think and thin, thin are factual and thick are more global
Eilene - I took the PD already and got a 95
Eilene - So I just have the elementary comp to go
Mae - Eilene - not really. Truthfully, the Excet is based on current research - things like MOT, the problem is that most people have not been exposed to it, and students have nothing to connect it with
judy3ca - Debbie, right, my kids did well with thick/thin with a modeling and a lot of read alouds.
Debbie#2 - Mae, I only read 2 chapters in MOT I got into StW first
Eilene - Which is StW?
Debbie#2 - judy, I guess I am not patient enough, i need do do a great deal more modeling
Mae - All of this stuff that we talk about here was on the Master Reading Teacher test - lots of people walked out - the test was 5 hours - I was done in 2 and did well, and I am a TERRIBLE test taker!
Mae - Strategies that Work
Debbie#2 - Strategies That work by Stephanie Harvey adn Anne Goudis
judy3ca - Debbie, my kids are the ones who aren't patient when I model. They always want to jump in!
Eilene - Oh! Judy....haven't heard of thick and thin questions either
Mae - Mine want to jump in to. They catch on quickly. That is why it's important to let them get together and talk.
Mae - Hi Clair. Are you here for the MOT discussion?
judy3ca - Eilene, no big deal--just an easy way to get to deeper questions.
Debbie#2 - I can relate, Judy, my kids are very vocal and rarely hold back, but I love the discussion that are taking place now during reading of stories, they are so much more interested and their discussions much more meaningful
Mae - I experimented w/poetry this week (using Michael's ideas from the primary board), and found that we were making and identifying natural connections
judy - NBPTS
Clair - I'm not sure. I was hoping to hit the exceptional needs chat. Am I in the wrong place?
Mae - hi judy. Are you here for the MOT discussion?
Rudy - I do Title I reading. Classroom teacher was doing Running Records for the last two days so I instructed whole class. I had poems about friends. I read the poems to the children. Next, i modeled some of the things I was thinking about a poem. Next we did aquestioning brainstorm of our thoughts on another poem. Next the students wrote their own questions about the next friend type poem in the packet on their poem booklets. They had some great thoughts popping up..
judy - NBTBS
Mae - NBPTS is over at 10:30 Eastern. This is MOT.
judy3ca - I have a spirited bunch and normally encourage participation, but on the first day I like to model alone. Another funny thing is that on Monday when I started reading a picture book for Social Studies, hands were immediately up commenting on author's intent, theme, etc. Darling.
Clair - Ooops! I'm on standard time.
Mae - I think that the kids wanting in the discussion is a GREAT thing!
Debbie#2 - Today while reading a story about creatures at the bottom of the ocean, several students shared their prior knowledge about giant squids form the discovery channel which lead them to ask questions. I said hey , let me write these down as I wonders. They begged to do research to find out more about the squid and even stayed at recess to use the internet to search. I was so excited. It is so much fun to teach this way!!
judy3ca - Mae, I do, too, but sometimes it makes it tough to intro a new concept, LOL.
Mae - When I was a first yr. teacher, my asst. principal told me that I let the literature discussion go to long (10 min.).
Eilene - Mae - that's one thing I always struggle with
judy3ca - Mae, I sure hope you didn't believe him!
Eilene - the time spent that is
Mae - Are you kidding? I have research to back up my discussions now! LOL!
judy3ca - Debbie, that is so cool!
Mae - Do ya'll know what a PreP chart is?
Eilene - because I have like ten minutes per day allotted for the *entire* read aloud per day
Eilene - This should come as no surprise, but no.
judy3ca - And I couldn't agree more with Debbie. This is an exciting and wonderful way to teach. I am constantly energized at school--then exhausted at home. No wonder my classroom looks better than our house, LOL.
Rudy - Today in the same 2nd grade I had a couple March wind type poems and one about a kite. ask the children to write 10 different questions to a kite and then pick their favorite. I quickly made a paper kite. Each child wrote their favorite edited question on a piece of construction paper that resembled a tail. I taped the pieces on a string and attached to the kite. Hung the kite plus questions to a kite in the hall. got some good thoughts from the students. One I remember was What does a kite think when he realizes the string has just snapped?
judy3ca - Mae, no.
Mae - Eilene, I sometimes read aloud for an hour. You are in Tx., right? They are not suppose to allocate your time. The state did away w/time barriers a long time ago. Read alouds are researched based.
Mae - judy - I was kidding.
judy3ca - Rudy, sounds like a good lesson.
Mae - judy - I am getting confused - can't keep up - did you mean no to the PreP chart?
Eilene - Rudy - great question! I wonder too now.
Eilene - Mae - our time is not officially allocated
Eilene - though I'm not sure exactly what the difference would be
judy3ca - Mae, I'm confused, too. Yes, I meant 'no' to the PreP chart, and I don't have a clue what you were kidding about (of course, I'm not only tired, I'm aging).
Mae - Rudy - that is cool!
Mae - I hear you Eilene! Shut your door.
Eilene - We make a schedule and the principal approves it, but it has to have certain things at certain times
Rudy - That is the funny thing about this questioning thing Eilene! Questions that pop out of a first or second grader often are so profound! Sure make me think too!
judy3ca - Eilene, don't call it simply RA. I use a lot of picture books to intro minilessons....for many subjects! Try to stop me, LOL.
Mae - Me too judy! LOL! A PreP chart - you ask kids what do they know about a topic (prior knowledge), and then how do they know. You write it on the chart. As you find answers to questions during your study, you answer them. It's an interesting little technique.
Mae - Eilene - what part of Tx are you from?
Eilene - We did a whole chart where one day they made text to self connections and the next day
judy3ca - Oh, I get it--like a KWL or OWL???
Eilene - they did text to text and I called it social studies
Eilene - Houston
Mae - Eilene - we did that too!
Eilene - And you Mae?
Mae - judy - yes it is - the key is HOW do you know?
Mae - Houston area too!
judy3ca - There you go, Eilene--I do a lot of MOT in subjects other than reading. Of course, I'm fortunate that my district supports MOT.
Eilene - My district supports just about everything
Mae - Eilene - there are good districts and bad districts in the Houston area.
Eilene - Its where to fit it all in that I struggle with.
Mae - In other words, they find a new program every year!
Eilene - I don't know bec. I've only been there one year but
Mae - Are you north or south? I'm south.
Rudy - Has anyone seen Keene speak?
Mae - Rudy - in my dreams!!!
Mae - Go see her speak if you have the chance!
Eilene - I honestly can't figure out where to find time in the day for everything they we're supposed to be doing
judy3ca - Rudy, I answered this on the board--a resounding YES.
Rudy - I'm in Ohio and she is going to be in Columbus in April. Think I'll go.
Mae - You are not alone there Eilene. What grade do you teach?
Eilene - First
Mae - Rudy - do think - DO IT!
judy3ca - Rudy, please do go! She's inspirational.
Mae - I'm in 4th - don't you feel sorry for me? LOL!
Rudy - Just got back from my sister's 51st birthday party. Didn't get to read the board yet Judy.
Mae - Did Debbie get kicked off again? I hope she tries to get back on.
Eilene - I don't know. I love the babies, but sometimes I think it would be nice if they
Eilene - understood things that would seem reasonable to a fourth grader
judy3ca - Rudy, that wasn't a pointed remark--I was just reinforcing how I loved hearing her (twice).
Rudy - Have you seen Keene Judy?
Mae - Sometimes, where you start isn't where you end up!
Mae - Rudy - you have to go for me because I can't go. I am totally green!
Rudy - You've convinced me, I'll go!!
Mae - YEAH RUDY!!! Report back to us every yummy detail!
judy3ca - Wait, let me start over. Yes, Rudy, I've seen Ellin Keene speak twice. I think she is wonderful--an inspiration to us to become better teachers and to lead literate lives.
Eilene - I'm so excited today though bec. (warning brag ahead)
Eilene - when I looked at the essays my kids wrote today
judy3ca - Rudy, please do report every word! We're all terribly jealous!
Eilene - I noticed that they were all putting their periods on the end of their sentances
Eilene - as opposed to just scattering some periods throughout the essay
Eilene - like most of them were doing nine weeks ago
judy3ca - One thing Ellin Keene does that is amazing: she'll take a small group of kids she doesn't know (from your district) and do a demo lesson--and she's great!
Mae - Eilene - if you have got that much, you are doing good. I still have fourth graders who have trouble with it!
Eilene - Even one of my *very* lowest kids today told me
Eilene - that he shouldn't put a period at the end of the LINE because his sentance didn't end there!
Mae - Eilene - teaching is tough, and 1st grade is one of the toughest - it sounds like you are doing great!
judy3ca - Well, this old dog is tired....it was lovely meeting you. Good night, fellow MOT lovers.
Eilene - I"ve always wanted to teach first grade - ALWAYS
Eilene - like since I was 11 (and I'm over 30)
Mae - I wanted to teach primary - but ended up in upper elem. I have grown to love it, but I am ready to move down. I am hoping to move to 2nd.
Rudy - I have used the questiong the most. I've only had MOT a short time. However, I'm finshing up my Masters research project. I studied Reciprical Teaching. One of the 4 strands is questioning. I decided to study that strategy because How to Prevent Reading Difficulties said that noncomprehenders turn into comprehenders. I would guess the questioning plays a big part.
Eilene - And it was always because I loved to see them learn to read, but
Mae - Questioning is important. You need to teach all four parts of reciprocal, and then they can work together.
Mae - Hi Ginny! Several have already pooped out and I'm getting close!
Ginny - Hi, I'm checking in long enough to say hi...and then I'm headed right back to the KU game. KU is barely ahead. Mary B just emailed me and is watching too. Have a good evening.
Mae - Eilene - have you looked at the Four Blocks? It really helps to organize your time.
Mae - Hi Terri. Are you here for the MOT chat?
Eilene - I've read a little about four blocks, just what I've seen on the internet though
Mae - It would probably help you out a lot. You can get the books at SW Teacher Supply.
Rudy - Mae, the 2nd grader I tutored for my research project went from an E level with a very poor retelling to an L level with a very good written retelling in just 16 1 I/2 hour sessions. My student was my nephew. He informed me tonight that he is doing well with understanding how to read things in his classroom now. This was said after he gave me a super long hug.
Mae - Totally cool Rudy!
Rudy - Yes Mae. It was a wonderful experience!!
Mae - What grade do you teach Rudy?
Mae - Everything is clicking, but nothing is happening. Are ya'll still here?
Rudy - Poor little guy is a seven year old twin. His sister does very well at school. She also lets him know at evry chance. He was really happy to begin to understand. He has been tutored by his school and by Sylvan Learning center for quite a while with no improvement.
Eilene - I a'm here
Mae - I wonder what Sylvan does. They have a big promise and a high price.
Eilene - But not punctuating as well as my first graders I guess.
Rudy - I teach Title I 1-4, Mae. However, I did 5th grade for ten years. I had a class in 1984 with Gay Su Pinnell. She changed my life! I've been reading and applying the research ever since. do you know Pinnell? Guided Reading and Reading Recovery.
Mae - Eilene - I know a first grade teacher that is rockin' in writing (much to my 4th grade TAAS heart). She is using the 6 traits of writing. Are you familiar w/it?
Eilene - Only in that I could possibly name a few of the traits
Eilene - organization
Eilene - uuummm...
Mae - Rudy - I have her book. I've only scanned it. If I go down to 2nd - it will definitely be read this summer!
Eilene - Oh what I meant to finish before was that I always wanted to teach first so that
Eilene - I could teach *reading*
Eilene - but I think I actually enjoy teaching writing even more!
Rudy - My sister could not really give me a clear understanding of what Sylvan was doing. She said there were assessments. My nehew said he didn't write. sounded more like a word study type thing.
Mae - 6 traits - organization, word choice, sentence fluency, conventions,
Eilene - Maybe its because the outcome shows such tangible progress
Mae - voice, ideas
Mae - reading and writing go hand in hand
Eilene - Let's make that "it's"
Eilene - I actually *can* read and write...not that anyone would know it from reading this chat.
Mae - Eilene -this summer, we are going to read and discuss Creating Writers and Wondrous Words
Mae - This chat goes too fast to worry about our writing!
Mae - I've thought about calling Sylvan as a "parent" and pounding them w/questions.
Eilene - I'm up for anything this summer that can be done from the comfort of my own home (grin)
Mae - We will be on the Professional Reading board
Eilene - Sylvan - from what my MIL found out they were redicoulously expensive
Rudy - YES! Mae. While doing this project I discovered that my nephews writing was filled with phonemic awareness type problems. I figure about 30% of his spelling errors looked like they were mishearings of some kind. My sister went and had him checked. He has scaring on his eardrums! think I figured out one of his learning difficulties.
Mae - Rudy - it's all those ear infections kids have when they are babies!
Mae - I was worried about my daughter (almost 5 now), but she seems to be getting letter-sound connections really well. So I guess the multitude of infections and antibiotics didn't hurt her hearing after all.
Rudy - My sister never told me that my nephew was struggling till after school started this fall. she said his school had tutord him all summer and she had been taking him to Sylvan two times per week. I think she said 250 per month.
Eilene - My MIL made it sound like it was much more expensive than $250/month
Mae - Why is it that family members don't want to ask their family members that are teachers for help? I have two sisters who keep it close to their vest.
Mae - I wonder if the price depends on the program that you choose?
Eilene - I don't know and...I don't know
Eilene - My MIL does want me to help her neice this summer though
Rudy - Maybe she didn't tell me the whole truth! she wants to buy some of his classroom teachers some of the research books I use. I told her that some were expensive. She said I wouln't believe how much she's spent trying to help her son read!
Mae - I am tutoring a kid now whose parents looked into Sylvan - they said it was going to cost about 10 grand!
Rudy - Well my nephew was disgusted by this reading stuff! At first I didn't think I could get through his attitude. the questioning concept did it, I think
Mae - How old is your nephew?
Eilene - Just what I was about to ask
Eilene - Has anyone read Reading Magic by Mem Fox?
Eilene - Its not for teachers
Eilene - but for parents
Mae - I've almost picked it up several times! I love Mem Fox. She has a lot of stuff on her website about teaching reading.
Eilene - Its a quick read
Eilene - but if only I could give a copy to every parent
Rudy - We were reading a poem about a polar bear making his bed. He was really quiet and then he said in an irritaated voice, "A polar bear doesn't use sheets and stuff. this is dumb!" I told him to ask the bear or the poet a question like don't you think this is a pretty silly idea? Polar bears don't have sheets!!! The argument hooked him! He was delighted with the idea. His attitude changed and we started making good progress. I knew he was plenty smart. He just didn't get it!
Mae - We have a parent shelf in our library - I should look and see if it's there.
Mae - Rudy - how old is he?
Eilene - I'm excited because I think we're going to start a sustained silent reading time at our school
Eilene - and the teachers are going to read too
Eilene - at that time
Rudy - I saw MemFox. she is quite a character! she had her hair died pretty red. She said that in her family (sibling rivalry) that' the best way to get attention!!
Mae - That's good Eilene. My kids always have a book on their desk!
Rudy - My nephew is 7.
Rudy - Actually, he will be 8 WEd.
Mae - Rudy - get him MAGIC TREEHOUSE books.
pookie - anyone from calgary
Rudy - Are they good?
Mae - hi pookie - this is the MOT chat that is about to lose another chatter to sleep!
Eilene - Me too - can't believe I"m still awake at almost 11:00
Rudy - Hi pookie
Eilene - when I was dead on my feet at 3:30
pookie - hi
Mae - Rudy - they are awesome! They are on about 2nd grade reading level, but appeal to kids from kinder to 5th!
Eilene - Hi Pookie!
pookie - hi
Eilene - The Phantom Tollbooth would be a great one to read him
Rudy - That's what I'll get him for his birthday. Thanks for the info!
Mae - MTH books are low level reading w/a high interest. There are about 26 books in the series now. My kids eat them up
pookie - so is anyone here from calgary
Eilene - Boys like the Junie B. books too, even though they're about a girl
Eilene - No, Texas here.
Mae - My daughter and I have been reading Junie B. My son reads them on his own, but he is getting into different books now.
Mae - Texas
Rudy - Junie B are cute. Kids sure like them!
pookie - oh ok
Eilene - My six year old girl likes to read them on her own but my son (4) likes to hear Junie B. too!
Mae - My son still loves MTH thought! We have been reading them since kinder. They are the most popular books in my reading center w/4th and they were w/5th too!
Eilene - How old is your son Mae?
Mae - I love the voice in Junie B books!
Mae - My son is 8
Eilene - What is MTH? I thought you were talking about Magic Treehouse but then I realized the letters didn't match.
Eilene - DUH
Eilene - OK it does match
Mae - Have you read "Skinnybones" by Barbara Parks? It's hilarious!
Eilene - I obviously need sleep
Eilene - No haven't read that
Mae - MTH - Magic TreeHouse - shortened
Eilene - I think I need to get to bed. The principal announced something about 1/2 hour before I left for the day
Eilene - and honest to goodness it sounded like absolute Greek I was so tired.
Eilene - So I think I need to hit the hay
Mae - I need sleep too! We will be back next Friday night, same time, same place
Rudy - I really hate to say bye. Have to work on that research project tomorrow. Had to transcribe those 16 tutoring sessions and put them into aresearch format. Sure will be happy when this Masters stuff is over!! Will MOT met again next Friday?
Rudy - God Bless All
Mae - See ya'll next Friday! Hopefully everyone else won't poop out so quick!
Eilene - Goodnight!
Mae - Goodnight!
