Susan (NC) - Hi Jan, & diane, the chat is quiet today-
JanKWV - Hello everyone! Happy Mother's Day!
diane - i have done nothing this week for the ac...just trying to finish out the school year
JanKWV - this is my first time, I'm a newbie... waiting on my box...
Susan (NC) - I was hoping to talk to Debbie Mc & Kelly if they come by today.
diane - happy moms day to all of the moms aboard
patty - hi all
diane - kelly said she wouldn't be here this week i think
patty - Have any of you recieved a letter from NB saying they have your portfolio
Susan (NC) - Wow Jan- you are in for the "ride of your life" - you will start next year?
Aggieb - thanks and the same to everyone
Kathy in CT - Hi MaryLou, Thanks for all your help on the portfolio. The box went out and it arrived. Now on to the ac
bruppert - Hi everyone, how is it going with everyone?
diane - i got a letter immed.
JanKWV - I paid my money in April... still waiting to roll...
patty - I have not all I have is the tracking from the post office
bruppert - I got my letter saying they got my box.
Kathy in CT - I received a letter that they got the portfolio and that they would send nothing else unless the videos were not viewable or the attestation was not there.
Susan (NC) - I'm doing so last minute studying for the Math Ac; since I'm a "banker" it is the only one I'm taking 5/15.
bruppert - same for me Kathy in CT.
diane - patty...they never notified you that the box arrived????
patty - no i didn't know until the other day that we got a letter
patty - what should I do?
JanKWV - I'm about halfway through "Building the Primary Classroom." It is good reading....
Kathy in CT - Any ideas about the play question. I am assuming there will be scenarios and we will tell what we know about the child and how to address their needs. Sound right/
Susan (NC) - Patty, have you tried calling NBPTS?
diane - i would call mon. am. because we all heard from them within a week or so
patty - no
Susan (NC) - Hey Kelly, Happy Mother's Day!
patty - I mailed mine on April 11th
bruppert - I am readign Pathways to Play, really good since I have not ever been around the young learner much
Peggy - Kathy That's what I was thinking too
Kelly M - Hi everybody....
bruppert - Hey Kelly!!
Kelly M - Thanks Susan! Same to you!
Kathy in CT - Patty save your confirmation that you went the box. Keep calling nb. It took from April 8 till April 17th for mine to arrive and get checked in.
Susan (NC) - Does "fur children" count? Rainey is my 4 legged kid!
Kathy in CT - I read pathways to play. It is a great book. I have taught k for a long time but this was still a big help
Kelly M - When you study for play, be sure to be ready to defend WHY play is so important, too....not just how to guide the kids, but the why behind doing it. So many people think that it's just for fun, so they may throw something at you that defends play in school....
diane - only if they grow from parallel play to socio-dramatic play...i mean fro the FUR one
Kelly M - Susan....fur children certainly DO count!
Peggy - Some friends went to observe in a 4 year old class to do some play observations before they went to the AC
Kathy in CT - I am assuming they will be looking for developmental benchmarks to be mentioned and also how to address individual needs and special need children.
bruppert - Yeah Kathyi n CT, it is reall y good for me to read and l hsve learned so much from it
patty - Kelly I was trained this year in the High Scope Curriculum, I think that should cover play for me. What do you think.
diane - are people still doing high scope???
Kathy in CT - Kelly I have been defending play for so long the time will run out before I do!
Aggieb - perhaps how play enhances the whole child, academciall, cognitive, social , emotionally, physically
Kelly M - patty - I think high scope would be good! Really, if you study any 'curriculum' for pre-k you should be okay (at least as long as it includes play!)
patty - My stste has adopted HIgh Scope and Creative Curriculum for use in the four and five k classes. I love it!
Kelly M - Kathy and aggieb, yes....
diane - we have several kinder teachers in our school that do not have blocks, housekeeping at all!!! can you imagine them writing about the value of play
patty - what do they do?
Kelly M - diane - LOL...I think those are exactly the ones NBPTS wants to NOT certify!
Peggy - I feel sorry for their kids!
Susan (NC) - I can't imagine teaching K without blocks, etc- poor kids!
diane - not really sure but i know they have no play...also some spelling words for K
Kathy in CT - If they said I could keep only one thing and the rest had to go the blocks would be it!
Kelly M - Geez, I have many different sets of blocks in my first grade classroom!
Susan (NC) - Blocks are so important for hand/ eye cooridination just to name 1 thing-
diane - i know some parents like it but i could never deal with that curriculum in k...kids need play for years and years if possible...i give mine some time however small weekly to play and i teach 2nd
JanKWV - Is the book, "Pathways to Play" by Heideman" the one I should read?
bruppert - Me too, Kelly, I can't imagine not having blocks or play time. We start our day with it .
Kathy in CT - Yes that is the book you want Jan
Peggy - It's a great book
JanKWV - thanks...
Karen (KY) - Hi everyone! I thought I might join today since I teach preschool and observe play on a daily basis. Let me know if I can help.
patty - children need to play so they can make sense of this world we live in
Kelly M - Jan (or anyone else) - if you don't want to buy the book, there are several files that are different people's notes that they took while reading it. That would help if you can't get the book and read the whole thing yourself....
patty - Kelly - where are those notes
JanKWV - where can one find the files?
bruppert - I think we adults need to play to make sense of the world we live in too
Kathy in CT - The notes Kelly talked about are very good and would help alot if you can't get the book or can't spend the money right now.
patty - bruppert I agree!!!
Kathy in CT - The notes are in the yahoogroups files for ec-gen
Susan (NC) - Well guys, I'd better get back to my math studies- good luck everyone!
Aggieb - >Teachers will demonstrate an ability to identify significant aspects of children's play.. Does this mean the type of play, solitairy, parellell, cooperative , etc?
bruppert - My kids look forward to our play time and our morning meeting. WE don't start any academics until almost 10 am each day
patty - did everyone check out the new files added by sinetag this week they are wonderful
Kelly M - patty - go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EC_GEN/files . Then click on Assessment Center help. It's actually the folder for the previous generation of AC, but the information is certainly all good for now, too!
Kathy in CT - I found the checklist in the pathways to play book very helpful
JanKWV - Okay.. I 'll look. My dryer buzzer went off.. got to go.. you all are the best! Good luck!
patty - thank you kelly
Susan (NC) - Thanks Kelly for all your help! You're the best!!
Peggy - Patty, what new files?
patty - i really mean added by sinetag and kelly
Karen (KY) - Some things I look for when evaluating my preschool children's level of play are: independent vs. parallel vs. cooperative play, whether they initiate peer interaction and maintain interaction, the level of engagement with the activity.
Kelly M - Susan - I'll be thinking of you come Wednesday! Let me hear from you that night!
patty - under files and assessment for New generation, it is the claifornia frameworks/standards based upon National stsndards THEY ARE GREAT
Kelly M - Patty - you were correct the first time! Sinetag did it. She tried to send them to me, but my computer wouldn't read what she sent. So she offered to upload them herself! Those should be a big help, I would think.
Kathy in CT - Aggie, I think you are right on your interpretation of aspects of play.
Kelly M - Hi kjh - how are you?
kjh - hi
patty - don;t forget adult interaction and language from the child
Kathy in CT - thanks to sintag. the files are very useful!
kjh - can i get live help from a teacher to a student
Aggieb - then we have to talk about how we support play, especially with the shy child, the child who does not have play skills etc'
kjh - CAn i get live help from a teacher to a student
Kathy in CT - yes I think that is correct aggie
Kelly M - kjh - you might want to try the chat rooms here at teachers.net . This is a meeting.
Peggy - Another thing mentioned in Pathways was how did the child enter the play
Aggieb - children who ar being too aggressive.. The big question is when do we intervene,,
Aggieb - children who ar being too aggressive.. The big question is when do we intervene,,
patty - we don't intervene per say we teach the children to work on these problems
Kelly M - aggieb - I think you're right. The questions will focus on some interactions and ask you to explain, plan, etc....
patty - with adult support
Aggieb - What impact will the children's play have upon my teaching.. ???
Aggieb - Do I provide opportunities for play
diane - i think we can intervene when there is aggression or safety involved
patty - for one thing it is a great source of viewing developmental levels by taking anecdotal notes over time
Karen (KY) - Peggy, I think how children enter play is one of the things I look for the most as a preschool teacher- do they initiate the interaction? Do they respond to others? Do they maintain that interaction?
diane - i never took notes when i taught k as far as play was concerned but now see the value in it
Aggieb - Karen great input
patty - using high scope i have to and i really lnow my children
diane - i love to watch young children play...you can learn so much by their behaviors and interaction
patty - i can not type bu i know my children
Aggieb - Modeling would also work well with a child who is too aggressive
Karen (KY) - Taking anecdotal notes during play also helps you understand how your children are making other academic connections- naming colors while playing with blocks or counting as they build- connecting literacy, etc.
Kathy in CT - I find myself looking at the play in my room in a different way after reading Pathways.
diane - modeling is probably the best answer for aggression
diane - how many use high scope???
patty - you intervene when prblems occur wotking with the children to help them solve the problem and find solutions. Then you stay around to provide further support it is modeling and teaaching all at one time
Karen (KY) - Thanks, Aggie- this is something I do everyday
Karen (KY) - I use High Scope- it's wonderful! It really helps me understand the "whole child"
Aggieb - We will have great notes in the archives to study.. Keep it going
patty - Diane I was trained to use it this year, I am working toward being a certified High Scope teacher so I can train others
Kathy in CT - I can never wait for the archives. I am still copy and pasting sections onto a simplext document and saving as we go!
Karen (KY) - High Scope also provides some great resources. One terrific resource is Devleopmentally Appropriate Practices
Aggieb - Patty send me that part of your brain that took in this information
patty - i did not think i knew it that well until I started to type today.
diane - wow patty...i was trained 10 years ago and we only used it for a couple of years...i'll have to dig out those old books and look them over
Kelly M - Hi Cathy - can we help you?
patty - yes diane that will be great for studyimg
Cathy - I don't know - just wanted to see what the discussion was
Kelly M - Project Construct is another good one....
patty - NAEYC has some good files online
Aggieb - let's get feedback on How play helps the children socially
bruppert - Is there a website for High SCope or Project Construct?
diane - they learn to take turns and work on cooperation
patty - It helps them move from individuals to part of a group throught their problem solving with each other and with items they play with
diane - they learn that they don't always have the final word
Aggieb - it helps children to work through their fears, when they are able to act out ,,ex... going to the dentist
Karen (KY) - Sorry, I got booted- I was saying that High Scope is really more of a philosohpy than a curriculum or method of teaching- it's something you begin to believe in
Kelly M - www.highscope.org and www.projectconstruct.org - those are both the ones I just got from google.com
Pam - Hi My name is Pam and I am new to this chat room. I live in Pa where it seems no one knows about NBPTS and I am going to try for my NBC in EC-GEN I am so glad to have "found" this resource. I will be doing this all by myself ! I plan on taking the AC test this summer? What do you think?
Peggy - They also learn acceptance of otherfs
patty - The High Scope website has mostly information on training it has parts that explain DAP a little bit
diane - the fear one is great and is referenced in all the books i read...ex. of visit ot a doctor/hospital/dentist was used
patty - i disagree it is a curriculum
Kelly M - Pam - I'd say you have come to the right place! Now all we need to do is get you on our mailring! You'll be fine....you'll have 1800 instant friends who know and understand what you are going through!
Karen (KY) - It is a curriculum, but you really have to believe in the philosophy-
Kelly M - Pam - if you email me at lkelly46@cs.com I can subscribe you to our mailring. Let me know if you are interested!
Kelly M - Hi Cathy....back again?...or a new Cathy?
Kathy in CT - Pam-definitely get on the mail ring . It is an unbelievable resource!
Aggieb - I did research on the high scope curriculum and was impressed with it
Karen (KY) - You must be able to relate activities to key experiences and experiences must be relevant to developmentally appropriate practices through your daily routine, but your belief system about what is best for children is what makes it work
diane - pam...kelly is the one who can steer you in the right direction...she is responsible for al of this
bruppert - Kelly, thanks ever so much for taking the time to give me the website, I should have thought to do that as well. But I have never heard of either so I have some homework tonight
Kathy in CT - we missed you lst week kelly. We had a good discussion about pe and health. Glad you are here today.
Pam - Thanks Kelly, I will.Kelly is that first letter an l or the number one in your e-mail
Pam - Are all of you NBC teachers or candidates? And if you have taken the AC test, how did you prepare?
Karen (KY) - Another resource I use when identifying children with delays in social skills is the Batelle Developmental Inventory- it has one domain that relates specifically to Personal-Social skills, focusing particularly on interaction skills.
Cathy - same Cathy - I tried to go to the sites and got kicked off
Kelly M - Pam - that's a lower case L....as in Linda (my given name, but I don't use it!)
Kathy in CT - I am a candidate taking the ac on June 4th.
Kelly M - Kathy - I was at the graduation of one of my niece's (from U. of Dayton) last weekend. Big family time.
Karen (KY) - Candidate taking the test on June 14th.
Cathy - I am a candidate taking the AC on June12
patty - Cathy I also take the AC on June 12
Peggy - Canidate taking the test on June 14th
Cathy - Wow - I will think of you
Kathy in CT - I am using this chat as one way to study and have been reading great book like Pthways to play and Building the Primary Classroom and Doing what scientists Do
Aggieb - I can't decide!!
Kelly M - Pam - you are in the first group of candidates who will have an option of taking the AC first. The previous years have all had the AC last. This year's candidates are all preparing for the AC now...after having completed the portfolios in April.
Cathy - I have ordered those books and should have them soon
Kelly M - Pam - we have some files that will be helpful to you. I promise, the mailring will steer you in the right direction!
Kathy in CT - I was wondering if taking the test first was a new option. I am not sure which I would prefer.
Kelly M - Hi Carol - how are you today?
diane - kelly....last week someone mentioned that aneroxia might be a topic for health/pe for a child suffering from it...don't you think that is TOO medical a condition for us to deal with??
Cathy - I am just beginning to study and organize I had to take a few weeks off for family and catchup at school
Pam - Is taking the AC first okay? I am worried . I am prepated to work hard but I want to work "smart"
Carol - Hi, everyone! Just stopping in for a minute or two.
Pam - If any of you have finished the portfolio can you give me some feedback on that?
patty - I think taking the AC would help in completing the portfolio, you are so keyed into the standards
Kelly M - diane - I really have no idea what they may ask you, but I know that it definitely COULD be a health question, so don't overlook that aspect. If they asked something about a medical thing, I think it would have more to do with how you would handle that within your classroom.....how do you teach the children to have a respect for a child who is perhaps different, etc. They wouldn't be looking for medical knowledge....
Carol - What is the consensus on the Science question? I told my candidates to study all grade levels, then changed it to 2nd, now here it could be anything. I am confused.
Carol - that should be "hear"
Kathy in CT - Don't worry Pam. Either way you have to focus on one thing and then the other. We just focused on the portfolios first. That box has been sent off so we are focused on the ac . Good luck.
Aggieb - carol I am going to study k-2.
Pam - Kelly my e-mail address is : iluvkinders@hotmail.com
Kelly M - Carol - I wrote an unpleasant email to nbpts the other day about that. Haven't gotten an answer....
Kathy in CT - I wrote to nb and got the answer to be prepared for any grade level.
Carol - Pam, the best thing I did for both the entries and the AC was the professional reading--and I don't think it matters which is first. I learned much from preparing both!!
bruppert - Thanks for doing that!! Kelly!!
patty - well said carol
Aggieb - I go t the answer to be prepared for all grades
Kelly M - Pam - I got your address - you'll be hearing from me....
diane - but don't we then have k-3 since 8 year olds are in 3rd grade
bruppert - It is so confusing to hear several different things for science.
Pam - Thanks Kelly
Carol - I'll pass the science advice along to my candidates
Kelly M - The problem I have with the science AC is that we are getting conflicting responses from the Inquiry Staff. It doesn't matter to me WHICH is the correct answer....but we just need to know the real one!
Kathy in CT - yes I see it as prek-3 for science
Aggieb - Yes but my guess is not to test me in three areas of third grades
Karen (KY) - I feel like after doing the science portfolio and learning all I learned about inquiry science that no matter what the grade level we are better prepared for any science question than we would have been without the portfolio entry
Kelly M - we are attempting to achieve certification in EC - that's defined by nbpts as ages 3-8.
Peggy - Karen I agree
Kathy in CT - I was thinking it probably is second grade as that is not covered in anything else and grade three is already in 2 questions.
Kelly M - Hi m and Wynema - how are you today?
Aggieb - AMEN KELLY
Wynema - Kelly, we received conflicting answers several times as we were completing our portfolios!
diane - i agree....i feelm i can study but i need to know how to narrow it down a little and io think it was unfair to receive so many different answes so far
Karen (KY) - I agree Aggie- I doubt it will be about 3rd grade
bruppert - One thing we were told in our cohort was to study all the life cycles for science in each grade level.
Kathy in CT - I agree Kelly, the reading and the portfolio made me feel more prepared too.
Kelly M - aggieb - I agree....and karen - yes, I think that's true. You're probably going to be looking at some misconceptions and discussing how you would address them....and where you would take your kids who demonstrate a certain prior knowledge (or lack thereof)....
Pam - do all of you have cohorts?
Aggieb - If I just understand plant and animal life cycles I should be ok, frogs, insects, etc.
Kelly M - Wynema - yes, and nbpts heard from me about that, too!I'm a squeaky wheel, in case you hadn't guessed!
Wynema - Yes, and we love you for it!
Kelly M - aggieb - don't limit your science to just those two, though....could be anything!
Aggieb - Oh no Kelly i have a bag of tricks for science
diane - you're GREAT kelly
Aggieb - body systems, solar systems, matter, electricity, etc
bruppert - I didn't mean to say it was the only thing to study we just were thinking from our advisors that the life cycles were universal and applied to all K-3
Kathy in CT - I decided to let nb know that they had a computer problem by sending me everyone elses reponses to questions. Of course that meant they sent me another one!!!fIt did not address anything, just said tey would get to me in 2-3 days.
Kelly M - well - YOU guys are all great - that's what makes this so interesting to be a part of! By the way, everybody welcome Pam, our newest member of our mailring! Pam, I just subscribed you. You'll get emails explaining what to do!
Kathy in CT - Welcome Pam. You will love it!
Aggieb - I was told to carefully, carefully read the insert from NB on the big ideas in science
Kelly M - Hi there DebbieD - how's Minnesota? I'm coming up again next Thursday!
Pam - Thanks Kellyyou'll find me here every Saturday now :-)
bruppert - Hey DebbieD. been missing you for sure!!
Peggy - I was told the same thing Aggieb
Aggieb - Welcome aboard Pam.. You are on a great roller coaster of great learning and great collaboration
DebbieD - Hey Kelly, at least it isn't snowing today like it did on Wednesday!
Kelly M - aggieb - I think that will help! and just think about how you determine what your kids know...and how far you will take them....you do it all the time....
Karen (KY) - I can't imagine it not being similar to the portfolio since the big ideas were stressed so strongly
bruppert - Pam, you will love all of this and listen to Kelly she is a wealth of knowledge
Kelly M - Hi Robin - welcome!
diane - o.k.....what insert are you talking about???
Kelly M - and Bullfrog - hello to you, too!
Kathy in CT - snowing! We have not had any snow really for 2 years!
Carol - ...and I just got back from the beach!
DebbieD - Bruppert - thanks, I've been very busy with family and house stuff, and I went to IRA. Can I help with ac questions?
Robin - Hello
diane - snow...i have never seen snow and i will be 54 next week...it is 96 here in fl
patty - now that there are more of us I want to ask this again. Has everyone recieved the letter from NB saying they have your portfolio
DebbieD - We didn't have much in Jan and Feb, but a bunch in Mar and Apr. I think May is pushing it!
Cathy - I have
Carol - The candidates in my group all did.
Aggieb - Fieldtrip!! it's time for Diane to see snow!
Bullfrog - yes
Wynema - I have
Karen (KY) - Diane, I think she's talking about the section in our portfolio handbook we used when doing the portfolio.
patty - i am really scared no I have not
bruppert - yes, I got my letter about 2/3 weeks ago
Kelly M - Diane - you have to go north to see snow sometime! It's beautiful!
Peggy - Patty, Yes I got a letter a week or so after I mailed my box.
Aggieb - patty , I recieved a letter from NB
Carol - Aggie, I was thinking the same thing! Who can diane go visit?
Kelly M - patty - call 800-532-1813 Monday! They should be able to tell you!
DebbieD - You are all welcome to come and visit! But the snow we get now melts by lunchtime! Come in January, we can usually promise snow then!
Carol - Patty, I would call NB and check on it.
Kathy in CT - Diane, I agree. Check the section in the directions for the portfolio
Bullfrog - I just got mine this past week
Karen (KY) - I received my letter very quickly, but my friend just got hers and she sent the box the same day I did.
Wynema - A friend hasn't gotten her letter, so she called them. They told her they would get the letter out to her soon, they had a record of it on the computer. You might call.
bruppert - DebbieD, if I pass I told my husband I was coming to MN and meet you and patsi kugler
patty - Tahnk you to all And Thanks kelly for the #
Robin - everyone ready for the ac?
Kelly M - NBPTS is SO swamped as they check in all of those boxes! It's a huge undertaking. But call them! Your peace of mind is at stake!
DebbieD - Anyone here from Tennesee? My daughter will be traveling for her summer job, and will be several weeks in different parts of Tennesee, then 2 weeks in Oklahoma.
Karen (KY) - Since my last name starts with an "E" I wondered if they were sent alphabetically.
diane - ok...thanks, i thought someone received some type of special insert that they didn't send me because i HAVE NEVER SEEN SNOW or something...thanks for the clairification
Kelly M - bruppert - do that! I have had several great lunches in Minneapolis as I've gotten to know some of our folks there!
Bullfrog - Where should I go to get info on math?
Peggy - Thanks for all the great ideas! I'll talk to ya'll again next Saturday. Bye for now!
bruppert - Kelly if I come you will know the world will know it !! LOL
Kelly M - DebbieD - I think Tressella is from Tennessee, isn't she?
DebbieD - bruppert - come on! Patsi and I are both northern Mn, but we'd come to the cities to see you!
bruppert - Kelly you will hear it as I leave Washington, DC.
Kelly M - Bullfrog - there is a lot about math in our files. There are great outlines that you can use to be sure you hit all the strands....
Kelly M - hey - bruppert - are you in DC?
bruppert - yes mame I live ab out 1 hour from DC. on 9/11 several of my parents were at the Pentagon.
Kelly M - bruppert - I'm coming to DC on Monday! I'll be at a training thing all day Tuesday, and flying home Wednesday!
DebbieD - bullfrog - I used a book caleed Experiences in Math for Young Children by Charlesworth and Radeloff, and another by Juanita Copley whose title escapes me.
Kelly M - Wanna have dinner Monday night?
Kathy in CT - Thanks alot for good ideas today. I am going back to my reading. See you next week and on the ring.
Kelly M - oops....it would have to be Tues night!
Jan in Va - hi all, what areas are you in

Kelly M - Jan - it's about reading grants.....
Jan in Va - kewl
diane - june 18
DebbieD - This is very off topic, but we came up with such a cute graduation gift I have to share it. We took a snaphot of the grad as a toddler, blew it up to 5X7, framed it, and added a little brass plaque on the bottom that gives the college and year of graduation. It is so cute!
Carol - It is good to "see" everyone, but I must go start dinner. Good luck with your studying!
Kelly M - Bye Carol - have a good week!
Kelly M - Debbie - that IS a cute idea!
Carol - That's a great idea! I have several graduation gifts to give also.
Aggieb - Thanks to everyone,,
bruppert - Debbie, that is so cute an idea!! I likeit, I went to a wedding and they did something similiar for the couple as they dated all through high school and college
bruppert - Aggieb are you leaving?
Kelly M - aggieb - as always, it sounds like you are on the right path!
Karen (KY) - I really must go, too- it's prom night for my Senior daughter & it's time to help her get ready. If anyone has questions about play please feel free to e-mail me at stillinpreschool@yahoo.com. I evaluate play everyday & don't mind helping with any questions you might have. I've felt like this is one area I may actually be able to help you guys with.
bruppert - yeah Aggieb is a motivator for the ering and for all of us
mathstar - CAN SUM1 XPLAIN HOW TO MAKE A PICTURE GRAPH?
mathstar - CAN SUM1 XPLAIN HOW TO MAKE A PICTURE GRAPH
Kelly M - Hi mathstar - I think you need to try one of the chatrooms here at teachers.net . This is a meeting.
Kelly M - Karen - I know that the teachers of older grades would ESPECIALLY appreciate any advice you could share!
bruppert - Thank Karen, you hve been most helpful and enjoy your daughter's Cinderella night, so special
Karen (KY) - Thanks, I will! Bye guys- good luck to everyone!
bruppert - Jan.in VA where do you live?
bruppert - Jan.in VA where do you live?
Aggieb - I have to go and mow the lawn,, spouse is out of town
DebbieD - I can't stay either - we're removing linoleum in preparation for tiling our bathroom. What is it that makes us take on home improvement projects when we have company and the end of the year?
bruppert - thanks aggieb, !!
bruppert - Hey Debbie, I will be emailing you soon. Thanks for coming I have missed you

bruppert - which email address did you send it to. OK that is a plan.
Kelly M - But I need to get off right now, too....so we can communicate via email. I sent it to your aol address...is that ok?
bruppert - where are you going to be?
Pam - Thanks to everyone here for the information, "see" all of you next Saturday
bruppert - yes, I will send you my phone number in the email too. bye for now and see you soon. for real
Kelly M - Marriott Wardman Park....do you know where that is?
Kelly M - GREAT!Bye to Pam, too...if you're still here!
bruppert - no but I will find out and my husband can help me
Kelly M - Bye for now!
bruppert - ok girl be in touch, bye for now
