Cara - I have a question about my video for entry 2 - the camera is shot from the side and me on one side of the table and my 3 students on the other side of the table - you cannot really see full frontal of the featured students face, but the sound and lighting is great - we did a "make a word" activity and they pretty much each did their own thing - I welcome your comments or input...
Cara - I also ask opinions on entry 3 - i was planning on an activity where they had to work in a group cooperatively, sharing materials and jobs to complete an assignment - is this ok?
Jana - I am an Eh teacher - I think that for your entry 3 it would be important to show how you teach your students to participate in group and skills and steps involved in sharing and cooperating
Cara - So better a skillstreaming lesson - 5 minutes teaching - 5 min interacting with students - maybe 5 min with them acting out skits of what we just learned?

Jana - I am still figuring this out myself - but that is how I understood it - you may just explain , model and than proceed with them using skills in whatever activity you planned with you guiding them and pointing to or reinfrorcing them applying those skills

Of course, you have to be a great teacher, but you also have to be a thorough, convincing writer, be organized, be ingenious, be willing to work your buns off for months, and you have to have a collection of lucky charms.
