    First, your old school district has the right to not take you
    back, since you gave your notice. Since it's late in the
    summer, they are probably already posting for applicants for
    your position. You can always call and ask, though. They may
    be hesitant to take you back since you wanted to leave in the
    first place.

    Secondly, yes, you usually can get out of a contract, but not
    always. It depends on if your job is easy to fill or not.
    In most cases, you have to give a 30 to 60 day notice, and it
    depends on the district if they hold you to that or not.
