    You would need a California teaching credential to teach in
    California. A graduate degree is nice but is not a license to
    teach. You would have to pick elementary or secondary. You
    might be able to bundle things together like student
    teaching, multiple subject credential and master's degree.

    Go to the California Commission on Teacher Education for
    credential requirements.
