    I am originally from Central CA (and had huge exposure to
    gangs and such) and have been overseas for the last decade.
    Returning to CA and really want to be in San Diego or Orange
    County and also considering the desert. Wanted to see the
    areas which have reputations for being good districts.
    Thinking of Escondido, but do not know much about it...or
    Temecula. Love the Redwoods, but having lived in rainy/gray
    climate for a decade I really want some palm trees, beaches,
    and sunshine. Thank you!
