    Hi Christina,
    With any new job (and, yes, four years still makes it a new
    job) there is an almost overload of work at the beginning. It
    takes at least 5 years in teaching to start to feel like you
    are on top of things.
    Often, teachers are very conscientious and we try to do it
    all. You have to give yourself permission to let some things
    go. As well, we need to work smarter - not harder. Sometimes
    we do so much for our kids that we do too much! We need to
    step back and get them to do more.

    3/4 position, but have taught 4/5 in the past. I am happy to
