When the disruptive students are also special ed students,
there are so many barriers to dealing with the misbehaviour,
whether those barriers are logical -- or even required by law -
- or not.
Many students, regular ed as well as special ed, misbehave
because being the class clown is better than being the class
dummie. We've all seen this. And many students, special ed
as well as regular ed, misbehave because it's more fun, it
gets them the attention of their peers, and they're pretty
sure they can get away with it. We've all seen this, too.
I really don't thing the frustration is so much with the
students, but rather with the situation.
