Today we took the dog to the lake and walked him around it--about a 1 mile walk. We wanted to go twice, but he wasn't having it. He put on the brakes, which told me that was enough for today, lol.

When I got home I decided to do that "Low Impact 30 minute cardio workout". I like it! It's great how there are so many exercise videos to choose from on YouTube so you can do it without leaving home. I know my muscles got worked, because I'm feeling it. Yay.

The trails are still a bit muddy and actually supposed to be off-limits for hikers, though I saw lots of cars parked next to the trails. I've learned that what happens is the trails get eroded from people walking along the side of the path on muddy days (I'm guilty, too). So the path widens over time. I've seen this firsthand but didn't really realize the impact until I educated myself. So, now I try to be more conscientious about it.

Have a great exercising day!
Babs Hi steps! good to see you here again and congrats for getting started with the "stepping" again! I only did about 2.5 miles today due to my blister that developed yesterday. Tomorrow DH and I are playing golf, so I should get some more steps in!

judycaret Did my 10,000 steps with a friend. Great walk today. Then we cooked apples in the crockpot--DH peeled them--using trivia and spices. They were delicious.
