I got to the gym a bit later due to my dental appointment. Today was weight/cardio day.

I had 8 exercises to do in the circuit and repeated the circuit 3 times. The machines were not too challenging, but the dumbbells were. I completed my routine in about 45 minutes. After wiping done the machines, I moved on to the cardio circuit. This should have been stair machine, elliptical and treadmill for ten minutes each. I lasted 5 minutes of the stairs because I was soooooooooooo bored! I was planning on splitting the 5 minutes from that to the other two machine. I moved on to elliptical and quit after 1 minute! I asked my trainer if I could substitute walking OUTSIDE for the cardio. She said yes as long as I did 2 miles and walked briskly. DONE!

I dread the cardio machines scheduled for tomorrow. I hope I can walk outside instead.

I have a miserable cold, but I walked 9,000 steps anyway because I like eating.

I keep discovering advantages to retirement. Being sick is bearable because I don't have to write sub plans. :)
