professional development workshops for teachers in the
state of Illinois and the state of Georgia for state

the two workshops offered.
Creative Writing across the Content Area Workshop ($450 for
30 credits) This is a workshop for teachers who wish to
study patterns and form. What are some of the universal
forms, patterns or outlines used to define the creative
writing process? How can this information be used to
encourage writing in the classroom and amongst creative
individuals? We will discuss and study fiction, poetry
songwriting/lyrics, art and text, and science fiction.
Teachers/education professionals will come to understand
how students can participate in the creative process while
studying a variety of subjects. Teachers/education
professionals will complete two writing assignments and
they will be encouraged to include this information in
their classroom curriculum. This is a five day, online
workshop. Teachers in the state of Illinois and the state
of Georgia receive state approved credit. Please enroll by

Day 2 (4pm-10pm Central Time) Poetry and Music (This
workshop is for teachers teaching grade levels 3-12)

workshop is for teachers teaching grade levels K-12)
Day 4 (4pm-10pm Central Time) Science
Fiction/Mythology/Fantasy and Film (This workshop is for
teachers teaching grade levels K-12)
Day 5 (4pm-10pm Central Time) Visual Imagery Collage,
Visual Arguments, Artist books (This workshop is for
teachers teaching grade levels K-12)
Writing across the Content Area Workshop ($250) Writing
across the Content Area Workshop is for the study of essay
writing. Teachers of Literature, Science, Art, Social
Studies and more will see how essay writing can be
universally applied to enhance student development.
