the “Bharat ke Sangeet Ratna”awards of 2005 to Vocalist
Pt.Ramashrya Jha “Ram rang” and Pakhawaj percussionist Pt
Ramasish Pathak, -------Kathak Dancers Mr.M.L.Koser &
Shobha Koser both jointly to be conferred the title
of “Sangeet Shree” for their service to the cause of Music--

A Musical evening with the members of the
Chakrapani’s “WORLD SCHOOL OF MUSIC” At India Habitat
centre--

Vocals speak out for themselves when art and culture meet
each other. And what else could have been a pleasant
evening when the young children presented the skills at
India Habitat Centre on Tuesday. A mesmerizing musical
concert presented by the member children of Chakrapani’s “
World School Of Music” made people lose themselves in the
fine tunes of the Classical Music--------
The Curricula for the Activities are: -
1. VOCAL MUSIC- (Classical, Light & Folk)
2. INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC-
(Guitar,Keyboard,Sitar,Violin,Sarod,Flute, Tabla, Pakhawaj)
3. DANCE- (Kathak, Odissi, Creative, Modern & Folk) 4 ART &
CRAFT
Ø Registration open.
Ø **Age group3++ ** Timings For Classes& Admissions by 4 pm-
6 pm Wed,Friday& 10am -12 am Sunday.
Ø Your faculty will be National and International level
Artists.
Ø Transportation facility available (Cond. Apply.).
The admission will be on first come first served basis
otherwise wait for the next batch.
Prospects
We will help to develop high moral in music world. Prepare
to Perform on A.I.R and T.V. side by side for the
National/International Level Stage performances. On
completion of musical courses can secure jobs as music
teacher in P. R. T, T G. T, P. G. T. Grades.
The School is affiliated Up to postgraduate level
Examination Centre.
The Art and Cultural Trust of India in brief: -
India has a rich heritage. To promote it amongst the
present generation, The Art and Cultural trust of India was
founded by Thakur Chakrapani Singh, under the divine
guidance by world famous Sarod Maestro Padma Vibhushan
Ustad Amjad Ali Khan Sahib. Thakur Chakrapani Singh who
also happens to be a disciple of the great Sarod Maestro.
Innumerable Indian Classical artists like Padma Vibhushan
Pt. Kishan Maharaj, Ustad Shaffat Ahmed Khan, Amman Ali
Bangash, Padma Shree Pt. Satish Vayas, Pt. Kumar Bose,
Padma Shree Shovna Narayan, Music director Ravindra Jain,
Actress Dancer Nandita Puri, Tim Hoffman USA, Prof.
Ramashraya Jha, Pt.Ramasish Pathak to name a few, have
worked and performed for this Trust. Former Presidents of
India Shri R. Venketaraman and Shri K. R. Narayanan were
invited as a Chief Guest at different annual functions.
The basic aim of this Trust is to promote Indian Classical
music. It is in this context that The Trust was formed many
years ago. The Trust strives to promote Indian Classical
music amongst children, youth and women. The focus is on
bringing these people in direct contact with reputed
artists to expose them to potential role models and to
inculcate in them a desire to learn and achieve the goal.
