    1. Story comprehenion questions in a crossword puzzle
    format

    2. Vocabulary Matching Cards (Students match the
    vocabulary word card to the definition on the vocabulary
    mat)

    3. Simile Completion (Students fill in the blank to
    complete each simile.)

    4. Character Comparison (Students decide whether each
    description listed describes Jess, Leslie or both and fill
    in the informationon the Venn Diagram)

    5. Simile Search (Students search out three similes from
    chapters three and four, record the sentence, highlight the
    simile, and write down what time items are being compared)

    6. Terabithia Cinquain (Students follow the directions
    given to create a cinquain describing Terabithia)

    7. Suffixes (Student read the list of suffixes and their
    meanings in the box on the left side of the page. They
    then complete the chart by circle one of the three suffix
    choices that will fit each word. In the last column of the
    chart, they write the new word they formed using correct

    8. Writing Activity (Students write about whether they
    feel it is important to fit in with their peers at school
    and why or why not.)
