Teacher-Create literacy activity CD-ROMS-several titles

    I have the following literacy activities on cd-rom
    available for sale.

    These activities are great for use in the classroom as
    centers, take it to your seat activities or take home
    bags. They're also great for homeschoolers. All the
    activities were created by me, cover various areas of the
    curriculum. They're in full color and in PDF format so
    they can be printed from any computer. See below for
    descriptions and prices (they range from $5.99 to 7.99).

    THE MITTEN $6.99 (8 activities)

    1. Mitten Months--Place the mittens with the months on
    them in the correct order.

    2. Mitten Match--Match the color word mitten with the
    correct color mitten.

    3. Mitten Math--Solve the addition problems written on the
    mittens.

    4. Story sequencing--Put the animal words in the correct
    order of how they
    crawled into the mitten. (If you would like to use the
    animals, you can find and print them on Jan Brett’s
    website and use the words and animals as a matching
    activity.)

    5. Tracks in the snow--Using the animals tracks page,
    follow the tracks to see what animal made them. You can
    use the marker or your finger to follow the tracks.

    6. Inside the Mitten--Complete the writing activity
    describing what it would be like to be inside the mitten

    7. Mittens and More Winter Clothes Graph--Graph the
    pictures of the winter
    clothes.

    8. Mitten Glyph--Follow the instructions to create your
    own special mitten. When you have finished, give your
    mitten and the page to another person to see if they can
    tell you what your chose. Read ALL the instructions before
    starting.

    9. Activity Letter--Explaining how to do each activity

    1. FAVORITE COOKIE GRAPHING ACTIVITY: Students graph
    their family and friends favorite type of cookie

    2. ABC ORDER ACTIVITY: Students put the cookies with the
    story words in ABC order (Two sets of six cookies. Each
    set is a different design so that they can be used
    separately or both sets used together for more of a
    challenge.)

    3. EATING A COOKIE MAKES ME THIRSTY GAME: Students roll
    a die and move along the path. The first to reach the
    glass of milk is the winner.

    4. STORY MAP REPRODUCIBLE: Students fill in the circles
    on the story map.

    5. RHYMING WORDS ACTIVITY: Students match together the
    rhyming word cards (8 pairs)

    6. SCIENCE EXPERIMENT: Students form a hypothesis about
    what happens when a cookie is left in a glass of milk and
    use their observation skills to explain the results.

    7. MEMORY GAME CARDS: Students find the two cards with
    the same cookie design (Card color and designs may differ
    from picture).

    8. Activity Letter: Explains how to do each activity

    1. Story Retelling Pieces: Retell the story or sequence
    the animals using the animal cut outs.

    2. Teddy Bear Counter Graph-4 Colors: Graph for graphing
    red, blue, green and yellow bear counters.

    3. Colored Teddy Bear Graphing Tiles: 18 bear tiles in
    red, blue, green and yellow to use with the above four
    color graph

    4. Teddy Bear Counter Graph-6 Colors: Graph for graphing
    red, blue, green, yellow, orange and purple

    5. Color Bear Memory Match: Play a memory match game using
    the color bear cards. (Print two copies)


    6. Color Word Tracing and Picture Cards: Practice writing
    the colors using the color cards. (2 pages with four cards
    each)

    7. Color Word Tracing and Picture Cards-SPANISH VERSION:
    Same cards as above only in Spanish.


    8. Color a Pattern Reproducible: Use your crayons or
    markers to color patterns on the teddy bear pattern page.


    9. My Favorite Brown Bear Animal Creative Writing:
    Complete the writing activity about your favorite animal
    from the story.

    10. My Favorite Brown Bear Animal Creative Writing-
    SPANISH VERSION: Same as above, only in Spanish.


    11. A Pink What? Creative Writing: Complete the writing
    activity telling what animal Brown Bear would see if he
    saw something pink.

    12. A Pink What? Creative Writing-SPANISH VERSION: Same
    as above only in Spanish


    13. My Favorite Color Student Graphing Reproducible: Make
    enough copies of this black and white teddy bear square
    reproducible for each child (four per page). Each student
    colors the bear in with his/her favorite color. The class
    can then use them to create a floor or wall graph.

    14. Activity Letter: This letter can be used in a
    literacy bag or a center to explain how to do each
    activity.

    NURSERY RHYMES $6.99 (12 activities)

    1. REBUS RHYMES: Practice reading the rebus stories
    featuring three popular nursery rhymes.

    2. NURSERY RHYME CARDS: Read or listen to the two
    nursery rhymes written on the cards.

    3. NURSERY RHYME & PICTURE MATCHING: Match the nursery
    rhyme title with the picture that best matches it

    4. OBJECT COUNTING and NUMBER MATCHING: Match the "Old
    Woman Who Lived in a Shoe" number cards with the cards
    that show the correct number of children (1-10)

    5. COLOR WORD & COLORS: Color each sheep the color listed
    below it

    6. LITTLE BO PEEP MAZE: Help Little Bo Peep through the
    maze to find her lost sheep

    7. PHONICS ACTIVITY: Find all the letter "P"s and the
    rhyming words in "Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater"

    8. HUMPTY DUMPTY PUZZLE: Put Humpty Dumpty together
    again

    9. NURSERY RHYME TIME: Match together the two rhyming
    word cards

    10. JACK BE NIMBLE: See how nimble and quick you can be
    in putting the sentence strips with the rhyme in the
    correct order

    11. SIZE ORDER SHEEP: Cut out the four sheep and put
    them in order from smallest to largest (this can be
    printed as a reproducible for students to cut out or the
    teacher can have them cut out and ready to put in order
    for younger students)

    12. HEY DIDDLE, DIDDLE POSITIONAL ACTIVITY: After
    reading the nursery rhyme, follow the directions at the
    bottom of the page to put the objects in the correct place
    in relation to the moon. (This can be printed as a
    reproducible for students to cut out the objects or the
    teacher can have them cut out and ready to put in order
    for younger students)
