Do you or your child need help with Math?
I am a qualified tutor ready to help!! I am a 23 year old
female and recent nursing graduate, with my Associate
degree of Nursing. I have been tutoring since my high
school years and have had experience with all ages
(elementary, and high school).
I specialize in K-8 Math, reading and writing,Pre-Algebra,
and Algebra 1 & 2. I can also tutor younger children in
basic math, reading and writing and have had plenty of
experience doing so. I can assist students with homework,
help students prepare for tests, help students stay on
track in their classes, or just prepare your child for the
fall.
During a typical session, I would appreciate my students to
come prepared with notes and textbook(s), but I can also
bring supplemental materials to work on outside of our
lessons if it is not too much for the student on top of
their homework.
My rate is $20 - $25 an hour, depending on the distance. I
require one hour minimum and can meet up to three times per
week. I live near UCSD, so the closer to that area, the
cheaper. I prefer to meet at either a Starbucks or library
for our first visit, then possibly at the home for the
sessions after that.
