I have been tutoring Year 12 maths (Further Maths, Maths
Methods and Specialist Maths) between 2004 and 2008. I was
also the Co-Principal and Maths Co-ordinator of a VCE
tuition school. In 2007, I worked as an investment banker
and now work as a lawyer at one of Australia's 2 largest
law firms by revenue.
My relevant credentials include:
- Perfect ENTER of 99.95 in 2003;
- Perfect raw study score of 50 in Maths Methods and
English;
- raw score of 48 in Specialist Maths (well over 50 after
scaling);
- completed University Maths in Year 12 under MUPHAS
(Melbourne University Program for High Achieving Students);
- graduated Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Laws
(Honours) at Melbourne University in 2007 (5-year degree
completed in 4 years through overloading).
After graduating, I accepted a role as a full-time
investment banker in a global investment bank in February
2008. I worked there for one year. In March 2009, I left
the investment bank and went on to work as a full-time
lawyer at one of Australia's 2 largest law firms by size
and revenue.
With more time on my hands now as a lawyer, I've decided to
take on students for private tuition as I've always enjoyed
