English speaking teachers needed for August¡ªjob in Beijing

Teachers for 2009!
A professional hiring firm for ESL instructors is looking
for new teachers. Most of our positions begin August 20th,
and include a week-long ESL teacher training and TEFL
certification in Beijing. Teachers are provided apartments.
Apartments are fully-furnished and modern, with Western-
style amenities. The majority of our teachers are placed in
kindergartens and early childhood education centers, but we
also have partnerships with universities, primary, and
secondary schools. We have schools contracted throughout
Beijing. Teachers have weekends off and generally teach
less than 25 hours per week, with some additional time for
lesson planning and special activities at the school.
Classrooms in which our teachers work have 1-4 additional
Chinese teachers who are responsible for discipline and
general classroom management.
Training for 2009 positions begins August 21st and includes
accommodation in a local hotel, multiple seminars on
teaching, some exciting sight-seeing activities, and a TEFL
course. We do not charge a program fee for this training or
for TEFL certification, which will be awarded upon
completion of a one-year contract (you will complete your
TEFL hours by teaching in a Chinese classroom). Upon
completion of our ¡°basic training,¡± you will move into
your new apartment and begin teaching! Teachers who have
their own housing can be provided with alternate contracts.
Qualifications: Easy-going, enthusiastic potential teachers
who love working with children. We prefer our teachers to
have a Bachelor's degree or at least one year of experience
working with youth.
