Intensive Academics Cirriculum

I am planning on getting my degree for ESE soon. I have came across that with the students in this program ,may read on Kindergarten or 1st grade level ,but they are excited about Franklin or Little Bear at 10 and 11 years old. Looking for easy readers ,but for older kids
