Post: Picturing America

Posted by Stormy Lynn Snow on 9/01/08

We are pleased to have been awarded the Picturing America
program on behalf of our Home School History Hounds, a home
school coalition that turns to our museum and educational
center for support in their American History programing.
We reach home school families across SW Missouri and NW
    Arkansas.

We will create a gallery of 20 prints to introduce the
collection to the community and begin monthly programing in
October 2008. (See our calendar of events pages).

We encourage teachers and/or administrators of public
schools, public libraries, and home school
coalitions/cooperatives to apply for round two of this
grant program, now available through the National Endowment
    to the Humanities.
