Re: Brilliant idea!

    Hi Gloria,
I will explain our lunch schedule, but I don't know how much it
will help you because I only have about 150 kids and I do have
    supervision for lunch.
    The schedule is as follows:
    Ka-11:15-11:40
    Kb-11:20-11:45
    1a-11:25-11:50
    1b-11:30-11:55
    2a-11:40-12:05
    2b-11:45-12:10
    3a-11:50-12:15
    3b-11:55-12:20
This allows each class to have 5 minutes through the
line/dismissal and 20 minutes of eating time. Each classroom
teacher has to stay with her class through the line, so they
each get 20 minutes of a duty free lunch. My PE teacher has duty
from 11:15-11:45, my art teacher has duty from 11:30-12:00 and
my special ed teacher has duty from 11:45-12:20. As you can
see, the duties overlap, so when the cafeteria is full, there
are two teachers in there. It is completely full in the middle
of this lunch schedule. Each of these teachers have a separate
    20 min duty free lunch.

I have a preschool that eats after this, but their teachers do
have to sit and eat with their classes and get a 30 minute break
later in the day when the kids are having nap. Only one of them
is in their with the whole class at that time. They are not
certified, so they work hourly and have the required 30 minute
break in an 8 hour day.

I had never thought about posting our lunch schedule to our
website, but that would be a good idea. I imagine that parents
would like that information, as well as, our special class
    schedule.
