Post: teachers lounge

The comment from Barbitripon could have been written by me! We have an awesome staff that works well together. Our lunches are entertaining and infromative! I do work with the best staff in the world. However, one day I was not aware that a parent was in the backroom making copies and I vented about a parent. I got called into the office and was written up. I don't think the "Teachers Lounge" is a place for parents, spouses, or anyone else not working with the children in a professional compacity. The principal makes it clear that we are all part of a team..... Unfortunately, after this situation, I don't feel like part of a team. I would bet if it had been one of the " in group of teachers" they would not have been written up. don't feel like part of a group just feel like a fool for believing it was possible!
