Post: Our Civility Footprint, I think size does matter.
Posted by Ollie on 3/06/08
This article really caused me to stop and think! How can we have civility today? We certainly need it, but with so many forces pulling in the other direction, is it possible? We see people being nasty to each other all over the place. I wonder what it's going to be like when the youth of today reach adulthood. Are they being raised in a world where considerate conduct is a goal? I want to use the list of rules to help my footprint to grow, but there are two that I'm not sure about. Does "Be Inclusive" mean to not shut some people out because of some sort of prejudice? and "Avoid personal questions" - Are personal questions like "What about me?" questions?
