Post: What Writing Isn't
Posted by Mary on 3/10/08
I agree that the creative aspect of the writing is the most important, but I certainly don't want all of us to quit teaching mechanics. This has been a topic of debate for many years. If we all had our own editors, there would only be a need for a few well trained in mechanics, but alas that won't happen. Thank goodness for spell check and grammar check. We all need to keep teaching mechanics and celebrate the creativty of our students.
