    I agree with this article. I taught two classes of the
    lower math and science students. They came to me in 4th
    grade as behavior problems and I had to focus on letting
    them know that they can do just about anything and that
    they were smart! Their test scores on the MAP test went up
    in some cases over 30 points. I know it was hard work but
    all worth it!
