By Teachers.Net Resources
To help celebrate this special month, please feel free to forward this announcement to your teacher and administrator colleagues.
What is “The 30 Days of Teachers.Net”?
June is a time of transition – semesters are ending, summer is starting. It is a time for goodbyes, and new beginnings. For some it’s just a quick breath and back to year-round classes, others will travel far and wide, bringing new stories and ideas to enrich their craft in the new school year.
It is a time to relax, to learn, to share. It is your time, and we celebrate with you every step.
Every day, for the next 30 days, we will announce a teacher feature from the Teachers.Net website!
We’ve been busy recently, with a series of improvements to Teachers.Net, that will help you with your teaching. So take a moment each day to note the tip for that day – visit the resource if you can, and make use of or participate in that resource if you can.
New in 2011 – a new chatboard a day!
We’ve recently completed an extensive survey of what new chatboards (Web-based discussion boards) you’d like to see added to the site. And we have created a list of over 30 brand new chatboards based explicitly on your direction.

June 1 – Teachers.Net Tip of the Day:
The Teachers.Net Chatboards
Today, June 1st, our tip of the day is a biggie – the Teachers.Net Chatboard Network. A diverse array of nearly 150 unique discussion “channels,” there’s something for every teacher on the Teacher Chatboard Network!
Teachers.Net was founded in 1996 with a single web discussion board. Over a decade later, that single general purpose teacher chatboard has grown into a huge family of discussion forums, for every grade level, every state and many countries, every major subject area, and dozens of the hottest discussion topics in education.
Browse our complete list of chatboards, and bookmark your favorites. Don’t forget to set your “Quick Links” so you can always find your way back quickly to the chatboards that are of interest to you. Here is a complete list of our popular chatboards…
