CONTRACT SCIENCE STATE ALIGNER - AZ (Scottsdale)

Salary: 25.00 per hour
These positions are contract/temporary position (4-6 months).
The State Aligner will work on a team that will align state standards to the Pearson Common Core. The State Aligner will be an expert in science and be able to do a K-12 state alignment in their content area. The State Aligner will do all alignments on a computer application designed to facilitate this process in a Pearson Digital Learning facility.
Responsibilities:
- Align state standards to the Pearson Common Core.
- Work directly with the Pearson Common Core application to create alignments.
- Collaborate with team members on peer review of alignments.
- Report to and work closely with the Pearson Common Core team.
Qualifications
- Content expert in the field of science.
- Education/standards background.
- Effective communication skills.
- Flexible and detail oriented.
