    I've had similar experiences, but have been seeking a position for only about 6
    months. If I don't find a position by September, I will continue to sub, but sub
    in only one, maybe two schools. Financially, it will be awful. But, looking on
    the bright side, I do so enjoy my time with the kids, even if it is just subbing. I
    am also looking into volunteering for something really unique and education-
    related. Anyone on the board have ideas?
