I'm in Florida, and there is a very little chance of getting hired.
I have applied to over 6 counties, and only a few was hiring. Most
counties were looking for transfers or more experienced teachers. I
am fresh out of college, so my chances for a first year teacher was
slim. I am desperate for money to pay my bills and have been
pawning my possessions to pay those bills. Jobs in other areas
besides teaching is also slim. I have been to employment agencies
looking for, any work, just to pay bills. No success so far. Times
are hard and getting harder. I hope the economy gets better.
