Post: depressed spouse

Posted by r on 8/21/08

I am so frustrated. My hu is a science teacher. (chem and
physics) we are living in IL and willing to go to
    Northeast,Midwest,Northwest, some southwest states.

He's had a few phone interviews, but nothing yet offer-
wise... we are newlyweds and want to start a family, I'm
in social services so I don't make much, and we want to
get out of the city! He'd prefer charter or private but
public would be okay schoolwise. He has exemplary
    recommendation letters too.

why do out of state licenses cost so much? Why is there so
much red tape for getting into other states? Why are there
so many ads and so little responses?

and where do spouses of teachers go for support?

    R
