    Ali, check directly with Parochial, Church and Charter or
    Private schools. Often they hire directly, not through any
    District..even for sub jobs...I subbed at a Charter after I'd
    come to observe as a student, and my mentor realized I had
    finished my degree and got me hired on the spot! You might ask
    to volunteer at these schools first....Districts are BROKE and
    may not be hiring subs for this year...also check out
    Edjoin.org...where many private schools post jobs...
