Re: 7 people panel interview for Teacher's Aide?
Posted by Cole on 10/11/08

And an FYI, you can been interviewed by a whole panel for
other positions than a principal. Yes, even if it doesn't pay
as much. In education, it's not about the $$$ amount. We
want people that are here to make a difference for kids. Not
just here for a paycheck. Yes, we all want to be paid well.
In my district, the teachers spend a heck of a lot more extra
hours at work than principals and are usually interviewed by
about the same amount of people. Yes, I understand that it's a
$10 an hour job. Like I said, ask yourself why you want this
job. Just to have a job? Then it's probably not for you.
Are you going to take week long vacations in the middle of the
school year? That's not the educational way of doing things.
Again, ask yourself why you want this job. Education is way
    different than the business world!
