State website is dese.mo.gov -- Department of Elementary &
    Secondary Education.

One thing you might want to do is talk with one of the big
teaching universities like Lindenwood or Truman State. They
typically can help you with strange questions that you might
    have.

You might have to take a Praxis test, be sure to send any
Praxis scores and transcripts, as well as proof of any
teaching experience to DESE. The website is pretty easy to
go through and they have all the forms online. It's better
to go onlinee rathere than calling them. DESE people on the
phone tend to be abrupt and unhelpful.

I just moved to Ohio from Missouri and was amazed at how
unheelpsul the website was, yet found the people onn the
    phone ve3ry kind. !!!!

Good luck. Be sure to look into the state testing material
so you will be familiar with important terminology for
interviews. The test is called MAP.
