Thanks for your advice. I think you misunderstood me though. Grading papers does not give me
chest pains and anxiety. It is the messiness that goes on at my school. If I am out on sick
leave, how do I even have any idea about the students grades and why would someone ask me to
contact them about it? It is just another form of harrassment. I have been harrassed for 2
years straight. I am just tired of it all and my body has taken enough and now is shutting
down. Stress is a killer! The last time I had chest pains or heart palpitations is when I
was working 2 jobs and still behind on bills. I had to learn to let it go. I quit one of the
jobs and said the heck with the bills, they got paid when they got paid. Now, I am having
them again and it has been close to 10 years later! This is my 6th year teaching and last
year was definitely the worst. That is why I am not able to deal with this year, last year
really tore me down.
