Post: Philadelphia

I was placed on the eligibility list for a 7-12 English
position in the Philadelphia SD. I just got an email
telling me that Sayre, Overbrook, Vaux, and Olney East are
available. I know 3 of these are on the "Persistently
Dangerous" list, and Sayre had 22 students arrested last
fall for a big brawl. I think I am talking myself out of
accepting a position with one of these schools. However, I
feel guilty for not stepping up to help these kids who could
use a solid English teacher. Is there any feedback
available on any of these schools, other than the Internet
searches?
