Re: Philadelphia

Call the schools and arrange for a visit....ask to meet with
    the Principal or VP-
Explain that you're a candidate and you want to make the best
choice. If the Principal/VP are interested in WHO is staffing
their schools- they will FIND the time to meet with you. If
you get a "no"- then I'd make that school a "no." Who wants to
    work in that environment?
What you might want to think about- although those four are
open now, there may be others when you go to "pick" OR someone
ahead of you might get your first, second and third choice,
leaving you with the fourth. Another scenario- (AND this is
the one that happened to my friend)- she showed up,
she "declined" based on the available selections, which meant
that she went back on the list, and she was called 2 weeks
later with a much better selection of schools. Don't give up
    without trying!
BTW- I was also a 7-12 English candidate a Looooooong time ago!
Got the Middle years first and it's great! Lots of awesome co-
workers out there- you will have their support and welcome,
    too!
