Post: Where Should I Move?

Posted by mpteacher on 10/25/09

I am a teacher with 8 years experience and am 44 years
old. I hold certification in a ton of areas: Principal
(elementary & Secondary), Secondary English, Middle School
English, Middle School Science, Library Media Specialist
    (K-12), Mild/Moderate Special Ed (K-12), and Family &
Consumer Sciences, in addition to Elementary Ed. Right now
    I teach MS Science.

I have a master's degree (that is my Library
certification), and am almost finished with a doctorate in
    School Administration.

I want to leave my home state. I have a multitude of
interests but also realize that the economy is bad in many
areas. Where is a good place to try to get a job?

I still have 2 children in school, so would want to live
somewhere that has good schools for my family. I don't
need to be rich (like THAT would happen in teaching lol),
but would like to be able to pay off a house before I
    retire.

    Anyone have any suggestions?
