    I just got a job here in Wake County NC. It's a great family place
    and depending on where you live the housing can be cheap. I live in
    Cary and the housing is expensive here but if you move to the
    outskirts it is more reasonable. I have two Elementary aged ones
    and there is lots to do here. The schools have their good and bad
    points but don't they all. There are lots of private/charter
    choices as well.
