Materials Required: plastic boxes (8 by 11 or larger)
Activity Time: 20 minutes
Concepts Taught: Writing letters and numbers

Objective:Students write letters in tactile media boxes.
Procedures:Teacher writes letters on front chalkboard. Students write letters in plastic boxes with dry ingredients sprinkled at the bottom of the boxes (such as spices,
chocolate pudding mixes, glitter and so forth)
Assessment: Teacher rubric of students ability to write the
letters from the model given
Materials: dry ingredients, boxes
