Materials Required: Paper money
Activity Time: 20 minutes
Concepts Taught: Money

After reading How to Eat Fried Worms, we had a contest about eating worms. Each student was given 15 gummi worms to eat. If they could eat all 15 worms, then they received $50.00 (paper money). Then they were allowed to purchase a prize with their money. This was a great lesson for teaching about putting forth a lot of effort and we learned different ways to count and save money.
