#1584. Biography interview

Social Studies, level: all
Posted Sun Feb 20 16:26:54 PST 2000 by Joan Gilliland/5th grade (gillilj@cw.noacsc.org).
Coldwater Elementary, Coldwater, OHIO
Materials Required: resource materials or computer
Activity Time: 2-3 class periods
Concepts Taught: interview skills/ questions

Groups of 2
Procedure: The teams will research information on a person to create questions. Have each person create three questions about the person. The team will then take turns interviewing each other in front of class, while the other person is that person they are researching. We then taped this so the class could see what kind of interviewers and interviewees they were. They really had fun with this lesson as they became creative by using other props.
