folded mountains are formed when a mountain is in between two plates and those plates are pushing towards each other.when this happens the moubtain begins to fold.
what is anticline and syncline?
anticline is when a fold is folding towards the sky and the bend is on top.a syncline is a fold that folds toward the ground.
