Materials Required: Paper, Glue, Leaf or apple stickers, Markers
Activity Time: Art
Concepts Taught: fine motor and shapes

Hold up a precut rectange. Ask children to name the shape. Have them glue their rectangles to the paper (to form a tree trunk). First model for the children and then ask them to draw the branches on the tree. Again first model for the children and then ask them to draw lines on the bottom of the paper to form grass. Have the children draw a sun at the top of the paper or have them glue on a cirlce. Have them name the shape and then draw the rays. Finally, have them peel off stickers of leaves and or apples to put on the tree.
