Materials Required: tape or CD of Mozart's "Ah, vous dirais-je maman"
Concepts Taught: Time,when to make a transition

My children know, from day one, that when free play is near over, I will say, "it's five minutes til clean-up", and then in five minutes, I play Mozart's "Ah, vous dirais-je maman", which is "Twinkle Twinkle, little star" variations. It is long enough for a complete clean-up of our large room, with everything going where it needs to go, and then some.
The children shift gears easily, and begin cleaning-up.
