#2156. Moira's Birthday by Robert Munsch Lesson 2

Literature, level: Elementary
Posted Thu Mar 1 11:00:15 PST 2001 by Rebecca Chesnick (chesnick2@postoffice.ag.ohio-state.edu).
Ohio State University Extension, St. Clairsville, OH
Materials Required: construction paper, markers, crayons, glue, and other art supplies you choose
Activity Time: 30-45 minutes

After you read the story, talk about the birthday party Moira had. Tell the children that now is their chance to design an invitation for their own DREAM PARTY! Make sure they include the theme of the party, where and when the party will be, whom the party is for, the time of the party, and anything else you think they should include. Tell them to be creative and that they can use any of the materials that you have out to design their invitation.
