Materials Required: photograpgh of the Singapore River
Activity Time: 45 minutes
Concepts Taught: to teach descriptive language and the use of the present tense

Get students to view photograpghs of the landmarks along the Singapore River in a power point presentation. For each picture pupils will work in pairs to brainstorm adjectives to describe the landmarks.
Next, they are to write a speech using a variety of tenses to describe what tourists can see if they take a cruise down the Singapore River. Then they can record it and present it together with the powerpoint presentation
