#230. another way to teach about American Culture

Culture is defined as the attitudes, beliefs, behaviors of a group of people. Before I define this with kids, i ask them to pretend they have met an alien and need to teach them about life in the United States. They greate collages that would teach the aliens. Then we categorize the pictures and relate this back to the definition of culture.
