Concepts Taught: Letter Writing

On the first day, the students will write a rough draft of a persuasive "friendly letter". They are to pretend they are a turkey and they're going to convince someone not to cook them for Thanksgiving dinner. They must be creative and give reasons to back up their request. On day 2, they'll edit and rewrite the letter onto a picture of a turkey. They can decorate it any way they choose. They look great in the hallway!
